Look upon it as a good thing though in that you have two people looking at your problem. My name is Bruce1270 and I will be helping you with your malware problem. Would someone please review my scans from FRST and make sure everything is okay? I would appreciate it so very much. The scans founds various infections for which they quarantined (I think).

So then I started running scans with SAS, MBAM, WD, MSS, IObit, and Housecall online. I rebooted my computer and everything looked normal, so I tried to open a program. After a few scans in Safe Mode, a window suddenly popped up and said that my restore point was successful. It kept showing an error when I would try to restore to a previous restore point. It took a few tries, but I finally reached it. I immediately rebooted and tried going into Safe Mode. When I rebooted my computer, it "Blue-screened" on me. I couldn't run any scans because they would all open in WM. I tried System Restore and got the same thing. It would not give me the option to "open with" on any program on my computer.

I never use WM so don't know how that happened. When I tried to open other programs, they all opened into Windows Media. Right after I downloaded it and tried to open it, every program icon changed on my computer to the Windows Logo.

I downloaded Yawcam on my computer, because I was trying to find a good free webcam monitoring software, and someone I know recommended this one.
